May 16 is deadline for Open Enrollment applications
The Fulton County School System has identified 16 schools that can accept transfer students next school year as part of the “public school choice” legislation (H.B. 251). Approved in 2009, the law gives parents the option to choose a school outside of their attendance zone, provided it has available classroom space to accommodate transfer students.
A transfer application is available online for the following schools:

The application deadline is Monday, May 16 at 4:30 p.m., and parents will be notified of their child’s transfer status by June 30.
